What is Broca Live?
Broca Live is an AI-powered clinical coaching platform that analyzes real patient encounters and delivers structured feedback across five dimensions: Communicate, Engage, Know, Prevent, and Improve. Coaching is grounded in evidence-based frameworks (MITI 4.2, USPSTF, CDC, MIPS/HCC).
Who is Broca Live for?
Physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical social workers, and the teams that supervise and coach them — from individual providers to residency programs and health systems.
What languages does Broca Live support?
Broca Live is bilingual: full coaching in English and Spanish. The platform analyzes encounters and delivers feedback in the language of the visit.
Privacy & Security
Is Broca Live HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Broca Live runs on HIPAA-aligned cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We operate under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for customers who require one.
Is patient data stored?
Encounter audio and transcripts are encrypted and retained only as long as needed to generate your coaching reports and longitudinal context. A detailed data lifecycle document is available on request.
Does Broca Live record patients without consent?
No. The provider always initiates recording. Providers are responsible for obtaining patient consent in accordance with institutional policies and local regulations.

How does the AI analyze my encounters?
Broca Live runs a multi-stage pipeline: transcription with speaker diarization, clinical entity extraction, and multidimensional analysis with anti-hallucination validation. Every coaching point is anchored to evidence from the actual transcript.
How do I capture an encounter?
Record directly with our mobile or web app, or upload audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, WebM) or a written transcript after the visit. Coaching is generated asynchronously.
Can I earn CME credits with Broca Live?
CME credit integration is in progress and expected to be available by the end of 2026. Your encounter history will count toward CME activity once the integration launches.
Does Broca Live work with my EHR?
EHR integration via HL7 FHIR (Epic, Cerner, Athena) is on the Enterprise roadmap. Contact us to discuss your environment.

What audio formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and WebM. You can also paste a written transcript directly.
What devices can I use?
Broca Live is available on mobile and web. Your account syncs across all your devices.
